Runaway is an edition that abstractly addresses human trafficking, particularly the black girls and women that go missing within the United States. When they disappear, these women are labeled as runaways rather than a victim of abduction.
The purpose of this project is to bring awareness to the topic and address the lack of attention black women receive from the media.
